Spiced Rice with Prawns for the Remoska®

Made using a Remoska


  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground paprika
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 175g (6oz) prawns, thawed if frozen
  • 150ml (¼pt) long grain rice
  • 175g (6oz) frozen peas
  • 300ml (½pt) vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Pour the oil, tumeric, paprika and ginger in the base of the Remoska and switch on for 5 minutes. This will release the flavour and aroma of the spices. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Put on the lid, switch on and leave to cook for 30 minutes.
  2. Season to taste with salt and black pepper, stir well and serve with a scatter of chopped coriander if you have it.
