Toasted Panini with Mushroom, Swiss Cheese and Caramelised Onion

Gooey Swiss cheese, meaty mushrooms, and the sweet stickiness of caramelised onion chutney make this flavour bomb of a toastie a must-eat when hunger strikes – and when it doesn’t!

Made using the Lékué Microwave Grill


  • 1 panini, sliced lengthways
  • 2 large flat cap mushrooms
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp caramelised onion chutney
  • Handful of fresh spinach (optional)


  1. Preheat the grill for 3 minutes.
  2. Fill the sliced panini with the ingredients, then secure the top of the grill using the silicone side bands.
  3. Place back in the microwave and heat for 3 minutes.
