Dad’s Store Cupboard Cookies

  • 225g butter, softened
  • 110g caster sugar
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 275g plain flour
  • 2tbsp porridge oats
  • 50g chocolate chips


  1. Place the softened butter into a bowl, add the sugar and orange zest and mix together until soft.
  2. Add the flour and oats, followed by the chocolate.
  3. Roll the dough into balls, put them on a baking sheet and then flatten.
  4. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes and enjoy.
