• 4 Bramley apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water


  1. Peel the apples and cut into evenly sized pieces.
  2. Bring the water and sugar to boil in a pan.
  3. Add the apples then cover and cook on a high heat for about 2 minutes until soft but still retaining a “chunky” texture. Stir occasionally to prevent the apples burning.
  4. Drain in a colander.
